The Category Sales Manager – Health, Wellness, and Beauty requires strong profitable selling abilities of assigned category to both mid-level and high profile customers. Performs activities associated with concept selling and overall management of the category; dealing with specialized products that requires knowledge of a unique and or specialized products that requires knowledge of a unique and or specialized nature.  These activities include researching and utilizing knowledge of regional specific items and trends, in additional operational and executable guidance at retail to create sales.  Also includes responsibility to suggest and influence specialized merchandising displays, fixtures and services.  The Category Sales Manager position requires significant travel.  Candidate must be open to traveling 4 out of 5 days within Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Missouri region.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience  or commissural experience
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Retail grocery sales experience 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong mathematical, problem solving and forecasting skills
  • General Product Knowledge and Make-up/Trouble Shooting
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
