    Description

    We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Global Sourcing & Category Manager to lead category performance, oversee international supplier networks, and support e-commerce growth for our Client's expanding luxury home goods brand. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end category lifecycle, from international factory negotiations and landed cost optimization to assortment planning and inventory performance.


    Responsibilities

    • Lead global sourcing initiatives, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with international manufacturers and overseas suppliers.
    • Collaborate with Product Development, Supply Chain, and E-Commerce teams to align product launches, landed costs and inventory planning with margin targets.
    • Oversee demand forecasting, inventory turns, and cost optimization strategies to minimize supply chain risks.
    • Partner with international vendors on specifications, quality control standards, and global trade/import compliance.

    Qualifications 

    • 5+ years of experience in Global Sourcing, Category Management, or International Supply Chain.
    • Direct experience working with overseas suppliers and international factory negotiations.
    • Strong background in inventory optimization, demand planning, and cost-of-goods (COGS) structuring.
    • Knowledge of global trade regulations and sourcing best practices.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in Luxury Home Goods, Furniture, or Consumer Durables.
    • Experience supporting E-Commerce brands and digital catalog performance.
    • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Acumatica is a strong plus).
    • Bilingual capabilities (Fluency in a second language is a plus).
