    About the Role:

    • Develop and execute electricity sourcing strategies across all facilities.
    • Lead RFPs, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and utility/provider relationships.
    • Monitor electricity markets, tariffs, regulations, and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities through demand response, load management, and renewable energy initiatives.
    • Partner with Operations, Finance, Legal, Logistics, and Plant Leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
    • Support energy infrastructure, metering, storage, onsite generation, and capital projects.
    • Ensure regulatory and contract compliance; deliver reporting on costs, supplier performance, and market trends.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Energy Management, Finance, Economics, or related field.
    • 5–8+ years in electricity procurement, energy sourcing, utility management, or category management.
    • Experience negotiating commercial contracts and managing supplier relationships.
    • Strong knowledge of electricity markets, tariffs, transmission, capacity markets, and procurement.
    • Excellent analytical, financial, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; up to 20% domestic travel.
    • Preferred: Manufacturing/heavy industry experience; deregulated markets; renewable energy; hedging; MBA preferred.
