The quick casual restaurant, based in Athens, Ga.-based chain has boomed to more than 500 units in 13 Southeastern states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia) and continues to grow. You'll be responsible for welcoming guests, taking orders, processing payments, maintaining clean and organized guest areas, and ensuring every customer receives prompt, friendly, and accurate service.

Initial training will be held in Albany, Ga until our building process is complete. We understand that may be a longer commute.Therefore, milage will be reimbursed for those driving from Sylvester.

Position: Cashier / Front of House Team Member

Position Overview

As a Cashier at Zaxby's, you'll be the first friendly face our guests see and an important part of creating an outstanding dining experience.

You'll be responsible for welcoming guests, taking orders, processing payments, maintaining clean and organized guest areas, and ensuring every customer receives prompt, friendly, and accurate service.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Hospitality

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival and thank them as they leave.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and enthusiastic service throughout each guest interaction.
• Answer menu questions, explain available options, and suggest additional items.
• Stay informed about current promotions, menu offerings, and restaurant specials.
• Represent the Zaxby's brand with professionalism, positivity, and enthusiasm.
• Work efficiently and with a sense of urgency to ensure a positive guest experience.

Order Taking & Payment Processing

• Accurately enter guest orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Process cash, credit card, and other accepted payment methods.
• Operate cash registers and maintain accurate transaction records and receipts.
• Handle cash responsibly, count and verify register tills, and properly record totals.
• Ensure guest orders are accurately completed, packaged, and presented.

Restaurant Cleanliness & Operations

• Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment.
• Clean and maintain the dining room, service counters, restrooms, and building exterior.
• Keep assigned workstations neat, stocked, and ready for service.
• Replenish paper goods, condiments, serving supplies, and beverages as needed.
• Monitor equipment and promptly report maintenance concerns to management.
• Follow established operating procedures and workplace safety guidelines.
• Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Training & Teamwork

• Successfully complete the Zaxby's Front of House Development Plan.
• Participate in hands-on station training and complete all required training activities.
• Work collaboratively with team members and management to ensure smooth restaurant
