THE SKATESIDE is a youth skateboarding program that has introduced skateboarding to over 10,000 kids since 2015, focused on building confidence, resilience, and community.
SKATESIDE FEST is our annual community event in Culver City, bringing together thousands of families, kids, and local organizations for a weekend of skateboarding, roller skating, music, games, and connection.

Event Hours: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Staff shifts will include earlier setup and later breakdown times.
|We are hiring reliable and detail-oriented cashiers to support sales and transactions during SKATESIDE FEST.
You will play a key role in helping families move smoothly through the event while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
• Handle cash, card, and digital payments
• Sell wristbands, tickets, and event items
• Keep accurate counts and records
• Provide fast, friendly, and clear communication
Ideal for:
• Prior cashier or retail experience
• Organized and trustworthy individuals
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Our approach goes beyond teaching skateboarding and roller-skating skills. We focus on building character, confidence, and resilience. Through guided instruction and mentorship, kids develop essential life skills like problem-solving, perseverance, and self-discipline—all while having fun in a safe, supportive environment.
We collaborate with municipalities, schools, and families to create enriching programs that foster self-awareness, mental well-being, and a sense of community. Our lessons are tailored to align with each child’s age and developmental needs, ensuring that every participant feels empowered and motivated to succeed on and off the board.
