Position Summary

The Cashier utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

This role pays an hourly rate of $11.98 and is tip eligible.

This is a seasonal role from November 16, 2026, and will end on January 7, 2027.

This position will remain open until December 4, 2026.

The Dr. Phillips Frontyard Holiday Festival is one of Central Florida''s most beloved seasonal celebrations, transforming the outdoor Frontyard of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts into a festive holiday destination for guests of all ages. Featuring sparkling lights, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, seasonal treats, and unforgettable holiday experiences, the festival brings the community together to celebrate the magic of the season.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the cash register sales by entering the orders and completing the transaction.
• Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating low stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
• Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
• Check guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months' experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Previous POS experience preferred.
• Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
• Must be able to work in an outdoor festival environment.
