Cashier Job Description
Fuddruckers is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic cashier to join our team! As a cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling cash and credit card transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment, a positive attitude, and strong attention to detail. If you're passionate about food and enjoy interacting with people, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they approach the cash register
- Handle cash, credit card, and gift card transactions
- Provide accurate change and receipts
- Respond to customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Keep the cash register and surrounding area clean and organized
- Follow all Fuddruckers cash handling and customer service policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous cashier experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
