Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly upon arrival and departure
• Manage transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems
• Scan products ensuring correct pricing and quantities
• Answer phones, take orders
• Accept payments via cash, credit, or check and provide receipts
• Balance the cash register at the end of shifts
• Bag and wrap goods carefully for customers
• Process returns, refunds, and resolve customer complaints effectively
• Issue coupons, vouchers, stamps, and gift cards
• Upsell and cross-sell products when appropriate

Qualifications & Skills

• High school degree or equivalent
• Experience with POS systems and cash registers preferred
• Basic computer proficiency
• Strong math and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle complaints with a positive attitude
