Cashier

Heas Energy is a privately owned fuel wholesaler and the operator of Express Lane Markets, a growing group of convenience stores with fuel and fresh deli food.

About the Role

Our Customer Service Associates keep the store running: ringing up customers, stocking shelves and coolers, and keeping the store clean and welcoming. Team members are cross-trained to work the register, stock, clean, and help in the deli, so you can move between areas as the store needs. No experience is needed. We will train you.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and provide fast, friendly service
• Operate the register and handle cash, card, and mobile payments accurately; count your drawer at the start and end of each shift
• Follow age-restricted sales procedures for alcohol and tobacco
• Stock and rotate coolers, freezers, and shelves; face products and keep displays organized
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, counters, floors, fuel islands, and customer areas; take out trash
• Help in the deli when needed, including preparing food items and serving customers
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the manager on duty

What We're Looking For

• Friendly, dependable, and willing to learn
• Basic math and the ability to make change accurately
• Retail, food service, or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule & Physical Requirements

• Shifts may include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and to lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
