Cash Receipts Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Cash Receipts Specialist to join our Boston-based accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting or finance professional looking to grow within a collaborative, professional services environment. This role will report directly to the Senior Client Billing Manager. The ideal candidate is adaptable, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

·Post all firm cash receipts to client/matter and general ledger accounts within the Aderant Expert system

·Research and identify miscellaneous cash receipts and ensure proper allocation

·Prepare and distribute daily cash receipt reports; generate ad hoc reporting as needed

·Process accounts receivable write-offs in accordance with company guidelines

·Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with period-end close activities

·Partner closely with the Client Billing team to support accurate and timely billing operations

·Provide excellent internal customer service by responding to requests for account balances and financial reports
