Position Summary
As a Case Worker for Social Service Programs, you will be expected to answer the phone, make appointments, take applications, conduct client interviews, and ensure accurate records are maintained for all aspects of the Social Service Programs. Complete intake procedures, assessments for services, and connect with other programs at The Salvation Army. Promote The Salvation Army's other programs such as, but not limited to Food Pantry, Case Management, Utility Assistance, Meal Program, and Corps Ministry Programs. Working alongside the Social Services team to assist clients through various case management needs. This includes and is not limited to utility assistance, assistance referrals to other organizations, and emergency assistance inquiries.

Requirements
If the position requires driving:
The employee must be 21 years old at a minimum (for insurance provision) and possess a valid in-state driver's license
An MVR will be processed every year in accordance with The Salvation Army's policies
Background Check
Continued employment will be contingent upon a biennial (every two years) background check that is processed in accordance with The Salvation Army's policies
Physical
Ability to maneuver, to remain in a stationary position, to grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead, to lift 25 pounds, to access and produce information from the computer, to operate a telephone, to understand written information
