About the Role:
Join a dynamic personal injury law firm in Encino, CA, where you'll play a vital role in helping clients navigate some of the most important moments of their lives. We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Case Manager / Legal Assistant to support our attorneys and ensure every client receives the attention and advocacy they deserve.
Responsibilities:- Manage and organize active personal injury case files from intake through resolution
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel
- Request, review, and summarize medical records and bills
- Draft demand letters, legal correspondence, and court documents under attorney supervision
- Track case deadlines, statutes of limitations, and litigation calendars
- Coordinate medical appointments, liens, and treatment authorizations for clients
- Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, and trial
Requirements:- 2–3 years of experience in personal injury law, case management, or a legal assistant role
- Familiarity with personal injury litigation processes, medical records, and insurance claims
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft office
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or paralegal certificate preferred
