Role summary:
The Case Manager II, Claims Management, is responsible for managing mid-complexity workers' compensation and general liability claims throughout the claim lifecycle. This role involves reviewing claim reports, determining compensability, establishing reserves, and adjudicating claims within financial authority. The position requires coordinating medical treatment authorization, calculating indemnity payments, and negotiating resolutions to achieve timely outcomes. The Case Manager collaborates with stakeholders, escalates complex claims as needed, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards while delivering exceptional service and contributing to continuous process improvements.
About the team:
The Auto Liability Claims team oversees transportation and fleet-related claims from initiation to resolution. Team members conduct thorough investigations, evaluate coverage, and manage case documentation while communicating with involved parties. They collaborate with internal partners, legal counsel, safety teams, and external carriers to identify risks, control claim exposure, and ensure regulatory compliance. Utilizing strong analytical, investigative, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills, the team delivers consistent and fair claim outcomes in complex situations, supporting the company's commitment to effective claims management and operational excellence.
