This position is part of the ABA program which operates out of our Mt. Airy location and is an in-person position Monday through Thursday and remote on Fridays.

The ABA program is designed for children, teens, and young adults up to age 21 who are experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges. Our services are provided in schools, homes, and the community by Behavioral Consultants, Mobile Therapists, and Behavioral Health Technicians.
Why Gemma?
Responsible for administratively supporting the clinical services provided in the ABA program including entering referrals, obtaining consents, and securing authorizations for services. Responsible for speaking with families and collaborating with clinicians in the program. Ensures collaborative communication with other members of the treatment team. Operates with Gemma’s UNITED values and the Gemma Way to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality services in alignment with IBHS/ABA best practices.
Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office; Familiarity of utilizing EMR; Detail oriented; Excellent organization and task management skills; Experience collaborating with others in a professional capacity; strong customer service principles and practices; problem solving abilities; interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with sensitivity with clients, families, office staff and external agencies.
Education: A B.S. or B.A. degree in a human service-related field required.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the Behavioral Health field is normally required. Experience with ABA is preferred.
