    About this role

    We are looking for a Case Investigation Attorney with 5+ years of securities litigation experience to join our case investigation team and play a meaningful role in identifying and developing new matters for institutional investor clients. You'll be part of a top-ranked plaintiff securities firm that is selective by design—recommending only the strongest cases to clients ranging from small county funds to CalPERS.

    What will you be doing?

    • Evaluating potential securities cases by analyzing corporate disclosures, SEC filings, stock price movements, and financial data to determine whether to recommend matters to clients
    • Conducting in-depth investigations—including reviewing public domain information, talking to former employees, and digging deep to understand what happened before recommending a case
    • Leveraging AI and data-driven tools creatively to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and enhance case evaluation
    • Preparing internal memoranda, loss analyses, and client-facing summaries for institutional investors
    • Collaborating with portfolio monitoring, data analytics, financial experts, and investigators to assess liability theories

    Key Requirements

    • 5+ years of securities litigation experience (4 years considered for exceptional candidates)—must have actual litigation experience to understand case strength
    • Creative, analytical thinker who knows what questions to ask and can dig deep to find answers
    • Interest in plaintiff-side work (candidates from large defense firms are highly valued)
    • Experience with or willingness to use AI tools and technology platforms for research and analysis
    • Stable employment history—no job hoppers
