What You'll Do

As a CPT Case Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring children receive the protection and support they need. Responsibilities include:

Advocate for Children's Safety
  • Conduct forensic interviews and psychosocial assessments involving allegations of child abuse and neglect.
  • Gather family history and assess risks, strengths, and service needs.
  • Help determine appropriate interventions and coordinate critical CPT services.
Collaborate with Community Partners
  • Work closely with law enforcement, medical professionals, mental health providers, and child welfare agencies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary staffing meetings to ensure coordinated care and informed decision-making.
Serve as an Expert Resource
  • Prepare professional reports and documentation that support investigations and service planning.
  • Provide court testimony and depositions when needed.
  • Educate community partners on child abuse prevention, identification, and intervention.
Make an Ongoing Difference
  • Support children and families through sensitive and often complex situations.
  • Maintain high-quality records and ensure compliance with professional, contractual, and CHS standards.

Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services-related field from an accredited university (required)
Experience
  • Three years of post-bachelor's experience required
  • Minimum of one year working with abused and neglected children required
Additional Requirements
  • Valid Florida Driver's License within 30 days of hire
  • Reliable, insured vehicle with ability to travel throughout the service area
