Location: Philadelphia, PA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 2nd Shift
Department: EVS / Surgical Services

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Case Cart Technician to support hospital surgical services in Philadelphia, PA. The Case Cart Technician is responsible for preparing, organizing, transporting, and maintaining surgical case carts and supplies to ensure operating rooms have the necessary equipment and materials for scheduled procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and prepare surgical case carts according to scheduled procedures.
  • Verify instruments, supplies, and equipment against case cart requirements.
  • Deliver case carts and supplies to designated operating rooms and procedural areas.
  • Retrieve and return used case carts after procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.
  • Clean, organize, and restock case carts as required.
  • Communicate with Surgical Services, Sterile Processing, and other hospital departments.
  • Follow hospital infection-control, safety, and regulatory procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous Case Cart Technician, Surgical Services, Sterile Processing, or hospital support experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to safely push/pull and transport carts throughout the hospital.
  • Ability to follow detailed surgical supply lists and instructions.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Schedule

  • 13-week contract
  • 2nd shift
  • Philadelphia, PA
  • Schedule may include weekends/holidays based on department needs.
