The Opportunity:

The Case Assistant will help organize, prepare, edit, and draft documents and correspondence, draft formation and registration documentation, manage due diligence and track deadlines, manage records and internal team databases, create closing binders, and develop processes and procedures to enhance efficiency in serving clients.

The Day-To-Day:

On any given day, you will interact with colleagues in a team setting on a variety of requests and projects and work directly with paralegals, attorneys, clients and third-party vendors.  You will:

  • Assist in the organization of documents, cases, and/or files
  • Prepare and/or draft documents and correspondence
  • Manage due diligence of processes and track deadlines
  • Develop processes and procedures to enhance efficiency in serving clients
  • Maintain best records management practices
  • Organize, update, and own the management of internal team databases
  • Use internal firm software to successfully complete tasks related to supervisor requests
  • Other functions as assigned by supervisor
You Have:
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience   
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to independently communicate with management, attorneys, and clients
  • Good work ethic and team oriented.   
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to adapt quickly to meet client needs and think outside of the box for solutions. 
  • Strong proofreading and grammar skills. 
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, and have a willingness to learn how to use the firm’s proprietary computer programs.

Location Specific Language:

The salary range for this role is $54,000 to $62,000 annually, which is based on a 37.5-hour work week. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Seattle. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
