JOB SPECIFICS
The Case Aide-Community Services helps clients to obtain and maintain eligibility for Economic Assistance programs and assists Eligibility Specialists complete some of the functions needed for case maintenance.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
SELECTION TECHNIQUE: Your training and experience will be rated based on the required application material submitted and the top scoring candidates will be forwarded to the hiring department for further consideration.
HOURS / DAYS: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Work schedules (hours and days) and location are subject to change based on department needs.
ANTICIPATED HIRING RATE: $25.51 Hourly

JOB SUMMARY
The Case Aide-Community Services helps clients to obtain and maintain eligibility for social services and assists other professional staff in maintaining compliance with program requirements, and process financial transactions. Duties may vary depending on assigned program area.
EMPLOYMENT CRITERIA
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a High School diploma (or equivalent) and three years (full time equivalent) of employment in a general office support position in a professional office setting; or, completion of an office support certificate/degree program and two years (full time equivalent) of employment in a general office support position in a professional office setting.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is sedentary in nature performed within the Government Center, satellite offices or on occasion client homes. Lifting requirement of 15 - 20 pounds on an occasional basis. Wrist and finger manipulation due to filing, compiling, calculating, or computer work. Equipment used may include, but is not limited to, computer, typewriter, calculator, telephone, copy and fax machine, scanner and dictaphone. Additional physical/mental requirements that occur may not be listed above, but are inherent in performing the positions essential functions.
