Chapter 13 is a bankruptcy proceeding which allows individuals with regular income or small proprietary businesses to propose a plan of reorganization to pay all or a portion of their debts. Cusick is responsible for administering Chapter 13 cases filed in the Eastern District of California.

Chapter 13 is a bankruptcy proceeding which allows individuals with regular income or small proprietary businesses to propose a plan of reorganization to pay all or a portion of their debts.  When an individual or small business files for Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, a trustee is assigned to their case. The office of David P. Cusick is responsible for administering Chapter 13 cases filed in the Eastern District of California. 


Responsibilities 

• Data Entry: High accuracy and proficiency required
• Processing documents related to the input of a Chapter 13 case
• Process documents related to the input of Chapter 13 creditor claims
• Perform various other administrative tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Previous experience as data entry clerk or similar clerical position
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Teams, Planner Board, Excel and Outlook
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize high volume tasks
• Strong attention to detail and time management
