You’ll serve as the lead accounting and finance contact for a portfolio of small and mid-market clients, all supported through a centralized, shared-services model. Your job is to raise the quality and consistency of each client’s accounting operations while acting as a trusted advisor to their leadership. What You’ll Do

• Oversee the daily accounting and finance operations for several clients at the same time.
• Examine each client’s monthly financial reports, comparing results to the prior month and to budget, and investigate what’s driving the differences.
• Turn the numbers into clear, practical guidance that helps business owners and executives make decisions.
• Spot weak points in client workflows and recommend improvements.
• Learn our software ecosystem and find additional tools, modules, and integrations that speed up the month-end close.
• Build and document standard approaches, along with reusable templates, so the team can repeat them on future engagements.
• Lead the discovery, setup, and onboarding of new clients from the first assessment through go-live.
• Own the systems and routines that keep client service consistently excellent.
• Contribute to growth by sourcing new leads, finding ways to expand work with current clients, and creating proposals and pitch materials for prospects.
• Use automation to streamline both our internal workflows and those of our clients.

What You Bring

• A CPA license, or eligibility to become licensed, plus a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting (a graduate degree is a bonus).
• Equivalent hands-on experience may be considered in place of the CPA.
• Familiarity with accounting for mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
• Proven strength in analysis, organization, project and time management, and interpersonal, written, and spoken communication.
• A track record of delivering outstanding client service.
• A genuine drive to keep learning.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
