Your Next Pour: The Opportunity
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a Specialist 1 to support our Carton Filling team. This role will be responsible for being able to safely and efficiently run equipment in the department within the qualification period. Must flow to work and assist with quality checks, changeovers, cleanup, and other departmental tasks.
Additional responsibilities will include:

Purpose:

- Ensure reliable and safe operation of equipment through troubleshooting and maintenance
- Participate in the department TPM objectives and priorities including AM, PM, FI and OCCI as determined by the department and line teams
Safety:
- Ensure all safety rules, procedures, policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as well as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies are followed
- Set the example for others by demonstrating adherence to safety rules, procedures, policies and GMPs
- Will stay up to date on all required peak performance safety training.
Quality:
- Ensure quality of products and work performed meet Tropicana Brands Group quality expectations
- Maintain high standards and compromised integrity to protect our customers and consumers
- Perform established QC checks utilizing established and future quality tools, including but not limited to fill weight, package integrity checks, case and bottle expiration and lot information checks, and any other checks that may be required to ensure product quality.
Productivity:
- Attend all production, communication and training meetings as required by the organization and/or department leadership
- When problems occur, it is the responsibility of each employee to assist in getting the problem corrected quickly and on time, flow to the work above and beyond without having to be asked
- Troubleshoot and investigate barriers to meeting departmental objectives and eliminate, when possible, offer solutions or take an active role in recruiting the resources necessary to remove these barriers
- Investigate, troubleshoot and solve technical issues on the equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Capable of completing equipment CL’s and CIL’s and any drumbeat activities
- Demonstrate effective communication between shifts and employees including, but not limited to, safety, quality and productivity
- Will be required to remain on the line during breakdowns to observe and learn unless otherwise directed
Systems Capability:
- Actively support TPM programs.
- Be a role model and lead the department in TPM objectives and priorities including AM, FI and OCCI as determined by the department and line teams
- Ensure all areas are maintained to 5S standards

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements
- Must be located in Bradenton, FL, surrounding area, or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
- Willingness to be onsite at the manufacturing facility on a full-time basis
- Must be able to perform physical tasks for the duration of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting/moving items weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
