Carson City - Sportsbook Agent / Ticket Writer

The Sportsbook Agents (Ticket Writers) assist customers with establishing a mobile account, process wagers, ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, answer questions, and provide timely, knowledgeable, and most importantly, friendly and patient support to customers. Regularly lift, move, push, and pull objects weighing at least 30 pounds without assistance.

The Sportsbook Agents (Ticket Writers) assist customers with establishing a mobile account, process wagers, ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, answer questions, and provide timely, knowledgeable, and most importantly, friendly and patient support to customers.

Qualifications & Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience as a ticket writer in a sportsbook required.
• Must be 21+ years of age and able to obtain and maintain a Nevada gaming registration.
• Willingness to learn new technology. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and math skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, any shift, including weekends and holidays.

. Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand at the sportsbook counter for a prolonged period of time; 8+ hour shift. 
• Regularly lift, move, push, and pull objects weighing at least 30 pounds without assistance.
• The noise level in the work environment can be loud and smoky.
