Carside To-Go Specialist
Hours of Operation:
Sun - Thursday: 7am-10pm
Friday - Saturday: 7am - 12am
Our Purpose
To make a difference by serving every guest with speed, accuracy, and genuine hospitality. As a Carside To-Go Specialist, you'll ensure guests enjoy the same exceptional experience outside the restaurant as they would inside. You'll coordinate and deliver accurate orders from both the Applebee's and IHOP menus while creating a friendly, efficient pickup experience from start to finish.
Essential Responsibilities
- Receive and process to-go orders through online ordering platforms and by phone for both Applebee's and IHOP menu offerings (35%).
- Verify order accuracy, package food according to brand standards, and deliver completed orders to guests at curbside or designated pickup locations (35%).
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently while providing outstanding customer service (20%).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked to-go area while following restaurant cleanliness and food safety standards (10%).
Qualifications
- A genuine desire to care for others while growing and learning.
- Positive attitude with a passion for hospitality.
- Strong reading, writing, verbal communication, and guest service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple orders.
- Mobility required throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to carry and transport food orders and other items weighing up to 15 pounds multiple times during a shift.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant by wiping tables, counters, equipment, and picking up debris as needed.
- Flexibility to support both Applebee's and IHOP operations as business needs require.
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular physical activity throughout each shift. Team members must be able to:
- Move throughout the restaurant and parking lot while communicating effectively with guests and team members.
- Frequently handle and grasp items weighing up to 5 pounds.
- Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Bend, stoop, reach, and stand for extended periods.
- Maintain adequate vision to assess food quality, cleanliness, and operate touchscreen systems.

Compensation
This position is paid at the applicable tip-credit minimum wage, plus tips where permitted by law. Total earnings will vary based on business levels, shift availability, and tips received.
