Job Type: Full-time with overtime and occasional weekends

Experience: 1 year preferred (Will train)

Reports to: Carquest Manager, no supervisory responsibility

Wage: $15 - $18 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary:

The Carquest Counter Sales Associate position will be responsible for assisting customers and filling parts orders. The Carquest Counter Sales Associate is a full-time position that requires some overtime with occasional weekends, reports to the Carquest Manager, and has no supervisory responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects.
• Assist customers with part requests.
• Complete register transactions for sales.
• Fill parts orders from requests made by customers.
• Work in a team environment.
• Stock inventory.
• Inventory trucks received.
• Load delivery vans.
• Palletize orders.
• Housekeeping of warehouse and store.
• Answer phones and take orders.
• Deliver parts as needed.
• Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work outside normal hours).

Position Requirements:

• Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen and Motor Vehicle Record request.
• Detail-oriented.
• Must multi-task.
• Customer service oriented.
• Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal.
• Basic mathematical skills (i.e. Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide).
