    Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Carpenter role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for quality craftsmanship and a commitment to delivering the highest quality construction and woodworking projects. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their operations.

     

    Key Responsibilities:
    · Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
    · Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to project specifications.
    · Install structures, fixtures, cabinetry, trim, and other finish carpentry components.
    · Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely and efficiently.
    · Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and project specifications are met.
    · Perform repairs, modifications, and adjustments as needed throughout the construction process.
    · Collaborate with team members, contractors, and supervisors to meet project timelines and goals.
    · Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
    · Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment as required.
    · Promptly report any project concerns, material shortages, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors.

     

    Qualifications:
    · High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in carpentry, woodworking, construction, or a related field is preferred.
    · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods.
    · Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
    · Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
    · Flexibility to work varying schedules, including overtime as required by project demands.
    · Ability to read blueprints, use measuring tools accurately, and operate hand and power tools safely.
    · Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices is a plus.
