Job Summary
One of our clients is looking for a reliable, hands-on Carpenter/Entry-Level Carpenter to support ongoing construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic carpentry knowledge who is looking to gain practical experience and grow their skills.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with basic hand and power tools and assisting with general carpentry and construction tasks.
Responsibilities
Wood framing and sheathing
Drywall-related work as needed
Hold and position boards/materials while they are being secured
Measure, cut, and handle basic construction materials
installation and general carpentry tasks
Operate basic hand and power tools, including a skill saw
Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
Perform cleanup and material handling
Follow safety procedures and instructions from the lead carpenter/project supervisor
Perform other general construction duties as assigned
Qualifications
Knowledge of carpentry or construction preferred
1-2 years' experience with wood framing, sheathing, or drywall is a plus
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
Ability to safely handle construction materials
Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Entry-level candidates with limited experience are encouraged to apply
Compensation & Growth
Candidates with limited experience may start at a lower rate and have the opportunity for an increase based on performance and demonstrated skills.
