role

reading

blueprints,

measuring

cutting

materials,

tools,

ensuring

work

and

quality

requirements.

Key

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other construction materials.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.

• Install doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, framing, and other fixtures.

• Build, repair, and maintain wooden structures and frameworks.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely.

• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and proper alignment.

• Estimate material requirements and minimize waste.

• Follow construction specifications, building codes, and workplace safety procedures.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area.

• Work with contractors, supervisors, and other construction professionals to complete projects on schedule.
