Position Summary
ZETO VERIFIED is seeking
experienced Transportation Dispatchers to join our remote dispatch team as Independent Contractors.
The ideal candidate understands the transportation industry, knows how to locate and book freight, communicate with brokers and shippers, negotiate rates and build strong relationships with drivers and carriers.
This is an
independent contractor opportunity for motivated transportation professionals who are comfortable working independently and managing multiple loads.
Preferred:
- Experience dispatching 1 year or more
- Experience with dry van, reefer, flatbed or other equipment
- Experience with TMS software
- Experience with rate confirmations and BOL/POD documentation
- Established knowledge of freight lanes and transportation markets
Dispatchers are expected to have the ability to
book 10 or more loads per day, depending on available freight, assigned drivers/carriers and market conditions.
Independent Contractor Compensation
Dispatchers are compensated
per load booked, according to ZETO's current tier structure.
Weekly LoadsCompensation
1–25 loads: $25 per load
26–51 loads: $35 per load
52–70 loads: $45 per load
