CareLogic Clinical System Consultant – Job Description
A CareLogic Clinical System Consultant provides functional and technical expertise for the implementation, optimization, training, and support of the CareLogic electronic health record (EHR) platform. This role collaborates with clinical, billing, compliance, and operational teams to improve workflows, enhance reporting capabilities, ensure regulatory compliance, and maximize system utilization across behavioral health organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze clinical and operational workflows within the CareLogic EHR system
  • Configure and optimize CareLogic modules, forms, templates, billing workflows, and reporting tools
  • Lead EHR implementation and upgrade projects for behavioral health organizations
  • Provide end-user training for clinicians, billing staff, administrators, and leadership teams
  • Troubleshoot system issues and recommend process improvements
  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, and data extraction solutions
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicaid, and behavioral health compliance standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, revenue cycle, compliance, and clinical leadership
  • Support data migration, system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for CareLogic workflows and best practices
  • Assist organizations with improving documentation accuracy, billing efficiency, and operational performance
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience supporting behavioral health EHR systems, including CareLogic preferred
    • Experience with CareLogic clinical documentation, billing, and reporting modules
    • Knowledge of HIPAA, Medicaid billing, and behavioral health compliance standards
    • Experience developing SQL-based reports and operational dashboards is a plus
    • Ability to lead client-facing implementations, workflow assessments, and go-live activities
  • Experience with EHR implementation, configuration, or optimization
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Nursing, Behavioral Health, or related field

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with:
    • Behavioral health operations
    • Medicaid/Medicare billing
    • SQL or reporting tools
    • SaaS healthcare platforms
    • Change management and project management
  • Certifications in healthcare IT or project management are a plus
