University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregiver Workers in Hartland, MI. This role involves providing high-quality, personalized care to our clients in their homes to help them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders and support clients with their healthcare routines as needed.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely in and out of bed or chairs.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing client’s living spaces.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their wellbeing.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers about client needs and conditions.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of services provided and client progress.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving or personal care experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature.
- Reliable transportation to client homes in Hartland, MI.
- Ability to perform physical duties including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
