We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Caregiver to provide one-on-one support for an adult male in his home. This is a rewarding opportunity to support his independence, daily living skills, healthy routines, and community involvement while providing a calm and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and one-on-one support with daily living activities.
- Assist with daily routines and ADLs as needed.
- Support meal preparation and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Encourage participation in recreational, social, and community activities.
- Assist with light housekeeping and household organization.
- Provide gentle prompting and encouragement while respecting the individual's independence.
- Follow established care, safety, and behavioral protocols.
- Document services provided and report concerns in accordance with agency policy.
Qualifications:
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Respectful of personal space and individual preferences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to remain calm and supportive during challenging situations.
- Comfortable assisting with basic household tasks and meal preparation.
- Experience in caregiving or supporting individuals with daily living skills is preferred but not required.
