Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to support a remarkable male client in New Kensington. Senior Helpers is a CHAP-certified provider recognized for Age-Friendly Care and Senior Gems® dementia care training, reflecting our commitment to delivering exceptional care and supporting our caregivers with industry-leading standards.
This rewarding opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Diagnosed with ALS two years ago, this client remains highly independent and communicates using a computerized communication device. While he is now immobile and uses a power wheelchair and an electric Hoyer lift for all transfers, he is looking for a patient, attentive caregiver who will support his independence, respect his preferred method of communication, and help him continue living comfortably at home.
If you value building meaningful connections and believe that great caregiving starts with dignity, respect, and compassion, this is an opportunity to make a lasting difference in someone's life. Are you the kind of caregiver who enjoys empowering clients to maintain their independence while providing the support they need to thrive at home?
