In this role, you will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and contribute to a safe and positive environment for those in your care.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, as appropriate to the care plan
- Support mobility, transfers, and positioning while following safety guidelines
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and other routine household tasks
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and attentive conversation
- Monitor and report changes in condition, needs, or behavior to the appropriate contact
- Help with medication reminders, appointments, and daily routines as assigned
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe care environment
- Respect privacy, confidentiality, and individual preferences at all times
Qualifications
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care instructions and work independently
- Basic understanding of safety practices and personal care support
- Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Prior caregiving, home care, or related experience is preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and provide attentive support
- Able to drive
