Position Details
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / PRN / Flexible Shifts
Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour + benefits
Work Location: In-person at client's location
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide physical support to clients, including stabilization, walking, and transfers.
- Assist clients with daily activities, hobbies, and social engagement.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with supervisors and the Amada office team.
- Monitor clients and promptly report significant changes in their condition.
- Promote client safety through medication and appointment reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Accompany clients to appointments and provide transportation and support when needed.
- Provide personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while maintaining each client's dignity and independence.
Requirements
- Ability to safely assist clients who require physical support, including lifting and transfers.
- At least 2 years of experience in home health, senior care, nursing home, rehabilitation, or a related setting.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance if providing transportation for clients.
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client locations.
- Commitment to participating in company-sponsored online and in-person training and events.
Valued Skills & Experience
- Experience in home health, hospice, or long-term care.
- Strong observation skills and the ability to recognize and report changes in a client's condition.
- Knowledge of caregiving practices for individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and accurately follow individualized care plans.
- Willingness to perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
