Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Remind clients to take medications (as permitted by state regulations)
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands
- Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Qualifications
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus
