Caregiver Responsibilities
As a caregiver, you'll help clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Depending on each client's needs, responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Preparing meals and assisting with daily routines
- Supporting seniors and clients with dementia or memory care needs
- Assisting with errands, appointments, and everyday activities
- Providing light housekeeping, light yard work, and pet care as needed
- Promoting a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment
Caregiver Job Requirements
We're looking for people who are dependable, compassionate, and passionate about helping others. Requirements include:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate professionalism
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude
- Current TB test and flu shot, or willingness to comply with applicable mask requirements
