About the Role:
ComForCare Home Care- Contra Costa West is looking for compassionate and dedicated Caregivers / Homecare Aides to join our growing team in Orinda, CA. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to client dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying, and errands
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
- Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving, home health aide, or personal care experience preferred
- Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plan instructions
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Availability for part-time or full-time shifts, including weekends or evenings as needed
