Home Helpers Home Care is hiring compassionate, dependable
Caregivers, Home Care Aides (HCA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide one-on-one in-home care for seniors and adults who need assistance with daily living.
We are looking for caregivers available for morning and afternoon shifts during the week, with some Saturday availability. We match caregivers with client assignments based on location, availability, and experience whenever possible.
Available Shift SchedulesWe are currently seeking caregivers available for one or more of the following shifts:
- 8:00 AM–12:00 PM | Mon/Wed/Fri or Tue/Thu/Sat
- 9:00 AM–1:00 PM | Mon/Wed/Fri or Tue/Thu/Sat
- 1:00 PM–5:00 PM | Mon/Wed/Fri or Tue/Thu/Sat
- 1:30 PM–5:30 PM | Mon/Wed/Fri or Tue/Thu/Sat
These are primarily daytime shifts. Saturday assignments depend on client needs.
Please note: These are part-time, client-based positions. Actual workdays and weekly hours depend on client needs, caregiver availability, and client assignments. Full-time hours are not guaranteed. Caregivers with more open availability may have more scheduling opportunities.
Pay & Benefits- $22–$25 per hour, depending on client assignment
- Paid every other Friday
- Daily pay available through Tapcheck
- Paid initial and ongoing training, including dementia care, Parkinson's care, and safe transfer skills
- Paid sick leave
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits for eligible employees working 30 or more hours per week
- $150 sign-on bonus after completing 30 shifts
- $300 caregiver referral bonus
Responsibilities- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care.
- Help clients with walking, mobility, and safe transfers.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Support clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, and other care needs.
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands, as needed.
- Follow care plans and help clients remain safe and comfortable at home.
Qualifications- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
- Previous caregiving experience preferred, including professional or hands-on experience caring for family members.
- Current California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration required or willingness to obtain registration.
- Reliable transportation; driving requirements depend on the client assignment.
- Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional.
- Able to communicate effectively in English with clients and the care team.
- Willing to complete required onboarding, background clearance, and training.
