Job Type:

• Full-Time
• Part-Time
• PRN / As Needed

Typical Schedule Availability:

• Morning shifts: approximately 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, or 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Short or split shifts: approximately 2–3 hours
• Standard shifts: approximately 4–6 hours
• Extended shifts: approximately 7–12 hours, including daytime and overnight opportunities

Private-duty home care schedules are based on current client needs, caregiver availability, location, and experience. Hours and schedules may vary and cannot be guaranteed.


Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility
• Provide medication reminders and observe and report changes in condition
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Follow dietary instructions listed in the client’s care plan
• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and general tidying
• Provide companionship and appropriate activities
• Complete required documentation using the WellSky app
• Provide transportation for errands or appointments when required by the care plan
• Follow client care plans and instructions from supervisors or nursing staff

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Current Auto Insurance
• Reliable Transportation
• Eligibility for AHCA Level 2 background screening, or willingness to complete the required screening: https://info.flclearinghouse.com
• Current in-person CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
• TB test within the required timeframe or qualifying chest X-ray, or willingness to obtain
• Ability to communicate clearly and complete required documentation
• Dependable attendance and professional conduct
