Job Type:
- Full-Time
- Part-Time
- PRN / As Needed
Typical Schedule Availability:
- Morning shifts: approximately 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, or 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
- Short or split shifts: approximately 2–3 hours
- Standard shifts: approximately 4–6 hours
- Extended shifts: approximately 7–12 hours, including daytime and overnight opportunities
Private-duty home care schedules are based on current client needs, caregiver availability, location, and experience. Hours and schedules may vary and cannot be guaranteed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility
- Provide medication reminders and observe and report changes in condition
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Follow dietary instructions listed in the client’s care plan
- Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and general tidying
- Provide companionship and appropriate activities
- Complete required documentation using the WellSky app
- Provide transportation for errands or appointments when required by the care plan
- Follow client care plans and instructions from supervisors or nursing staff
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current Auto Insurance
- Reliable Transportation
- Eligibility for AHCA Level 2 background screening, or willingness to complete the required screening: https://info.flclearinghouse.com
- Current in-person CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- TB test within the required timeframe or qualifying chest X-ray, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to communicate clearly and complete required documentation
- Dependable attendance and professional conduct
Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
