About the Role:
ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Orinda, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, in-home care that promotes independence and dignity. Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean home environment
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to prevent falls and ensure client safety
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist with medication reminders

Requirements:

• Previous caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or personal care aide (PCA) experience preferred
• Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication skills and a dependable, professional demeanor
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
