About the Role:ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/CNA to join their team in Orinda, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients through attentive, one-on-one care during 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities:- Provide direct personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
- Monitor and document client health status, reporting any changes to the care team
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safety
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary needs and preferences
- Administer medication reminders and support medication management routines
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
Requirements:- Active CNA certification or verifiable experience as a professional caregiver
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, or weekends as needed
- Experience with personal care, ADLs, and transfers in a home or facility setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a client-centered approach
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Must pass background check and provide verifiable references
