About the Opportunity

We are hiring a compassionate and dependable Spanish-speaking Caregiver / Certified Medication Technician (CMT) for a part-time in-home care opportunity in the Hyattsville area.

This position combines traditional caregiving and companionship with medication assistance. The ideal candidate is an active Maryland CMT who enjoys working one-on-one with clients and is comfortable providing personal care, preparing meals, assisting with household needs, and supporting a client's daily routine.

Pay and Schedule

• $22.00 per hour

• Additional hours may be available based on client needs and caregiver availability

What You'll Do

• Provide medication assistance within the scope of Maryland CMT certification and the client's care plan

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs

• Prepare meals and assist with daily nutrition needs

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation

• Assist with mobility and maintaining a safe home environment

• Perform light housekeeping and laundry

• Assist with errands and grocery shopping when needed

• Accompany the client to appointments when appropriate

• Follow the individualized plan of care

• Observe and report changes in the client's condition

• Complete required care and medication documentation

Requirements

• Spanish speaking required

• Current Maryland Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification required

• Previous caregiving, home care, assisted living, or personal care experience preferred

• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care

• Strong communication skills

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional

• Ability to work independently in a client's home

• Reliable transportation strongly preferred

• Ability to pass required background and pre-employment screenings
