    Job Description

    Due to growth, we are searching for a career paralegal with law firm experience to add to the Insurance Defense / Med Mal / Healthcare practice groups. Our downtown Indianapolis client offers competitive pay and benefits, a private office and award-winning attorneys creating a busy, challenging, supportive and rewarding environment.

    Candidates must have a minimum of 7+ years’ experience in the forementioned practice groups including trial preparation and litigation. Need a career paralegal who thrives in managing multiple deadlines and high priority matters with precision and professionalism. Local candidates only.

    Key Responsibilities

    \n
    • \n
    • Draft and prepare pleadings, briefs, appeals, affidavits, subpoenas, and other legal documents
    • \n
    • Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, case law, and legal articles
    • \n
    • Manage discovery, including collection, review, summarization, and organization of electronic and paper files
    • \n
    • Maintain organized client and case files
    • \n
    • Coordinate court filings and document management
    • \n
    • Prepare trial binders and assist with case strategy and preparation
    • \n
    • Track billable time accurately and maintain detailed records
    • \n
    \n

    Qualifications

    \n
    • \n
    • 7+ years of paralegal experience required
    • \n
    • Trial experience strongly preferred
    • \n
    • Strong legal research, writing, and organizational skills
    • \n
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
    • \n
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic filing systems
    • \n
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
    • \n
    • Bachelor’s degree plus Paralegal certificate preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • \n
    • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
    • \n
    \n
