This position requires a passion for working with individuals who have faced significant life challenges. The Career Life Coach will teach life skills, job readiness, financial literacy, workplace success strategies, and character development while helping students overcome barriers such as transportation, housing instability, lack of identification, legal challenges, and limited support systems. While this role primarily serves the Birmingham Campus, the Career Life Coach must be prepared to assist other HIM campuses as needed to ensure consistent program delivery and participant support.

• Connecting participants with housing, transportation, mentoring, counseling, and continuing education resources.

Use data and key metrics to evaluate program performance and participant outcomes.

Multi-Campus Involvement

Serve primarily at the Birmingham Campus but remain available to assist at other HIM campuses if organizational needs arise.

Adapt teaching and coaching strategies to suit various environments and participant populations.

Travel to other campuses will be infrequent and based solely on program needs to maintain consistency in service delivery.

Operational Responsibilities

Partner with the Birmingham Campus Director and Administrative Staff to ensure accurate data entry, financial reporting, and timely submission of grant documentation.

Maintain all program-related data for internal and external reporting.

Support day-to-day campus operations and ensure program efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office platforms.

Travel Requirements

Valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance required.

Willingness to occasionally travel between HIM campuses as needed.

A company vehicle is typically provided for official travel.
