TECHNICIANS - Onsemi EFK is seeking highly skilled and motivated technicians to become part of our state of the art 300mm factory in East Fishkill, New York. Equipment/Maintenance Technicians sustain and run the fab floor with primary responsibility of resolving equipment and process issues. Technician positions are shift positions working a compressed week of 12-hour shifts. Onsemi is a 24/7 manufacturing facility providing technician support across all shifts. $5,000 sign-on bonus.

OPERATORS - onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Wafer Fab Operator to join the Manufacturing Operations Team. The role of the Manufacturing Specialist is primarily to load wafers into production equipment, verify product specs against equipment settings, monitor equipment operation, monitor process pace/productivity, and recognize when something is out of adjustment. $1,500 sign-on bonus.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR AN OPERATOR

Experience required:

Prior semiconductor experience is preferred, but not required
A stable work history is a plus
Must be able to work a 12-hour compressed shift in a cleanroom environment.
Hard-working, flexible team player with superior attention to detail and computer knowledge.
The ability to multitask and manage a large volume of activity and demands.
Wearing cleanroom garments is necessary to protect hair, dry skin, etc., from contaminating the product (wafers). This includes wearing a bunny suit, gloves, safety glasses, approved cleanroom shoes, and face coverings.
The ability to carry a pod of wafers that weigh 15 pounds throughout the full shift of work.
The ability to frequently climb up 4-5 stair steps while carrying a wafer pod throughout the full work shift.
The position works a compressed night shift. Each shift is 12 hours per day, alternating 3 working days one week and 4 working days the next week.
Arriving on shift at the scheduled time and punctuality from breaks and lunches is mandatory to ensure appropriate coverage at all times.

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this TECHNICIAN AND OPERATOR is $18.75-$48.17 per hour exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. RESPONSIBILITES FOR TECHNICIANS

Monitor, control, and qualify state-of-the-art 300 mm diffusion furnace semiconductor equipment
Perform, and teach others how to perform, preventive maintenance activities
React to error messages of factory systems and/or equipment
Review Statistical Process Control charts and other system indicators for process quality and react to Out of Control conditions, including defect troubleshooting
Perform, and teach others how to perform, visual inspections (quality checks)
Recover from process and tool interruptions
Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost
Complete all required reporting and documentation
Understand and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirements
Actively participate in continuous improvement processes, learning, and skills development
Strong team member, able to work well with a global team, train new team members as needed, and perform other duties as assigned
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Day shift 1 Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday 6:30 AM-7:00 PM
Day Shift 2 Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday from 6:30 am -7:00 pm
Night Shift 1 Sunday, Monday, Tuesday e/o Saturday 6:30 pm - 7:00 am Includes 15% Shift Differential
Night shift 2: Wednesday, Thurs, Friday, e/o Saturday 6:30 PM-7:00 AM Includes 15% Shift Differential
