    Job Description.

    We are looking to hire a Career Development Coordinator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This position will require the candidate to be the main point of contact for coordination, help create initiatives and services for the organization, and support multiple groups such as students, members, and prospects. This opportunity offers a base salary between $55k-$65k based on experience, a performance based incentive, RRSP, 3 weeks vacation, personal days, and a very positive team based work environment!

    Duties and Responsibilities.

    Primary responsibilities will be mentoring, strategic initiatives, career events, and maintaining the designation.

    Coordinate the daily activities of members of the organization.

    Be the first point of contact for members

    Work to enhance the membership platform through new marketing initiatives, program initiatives and the launch of new product features

    Research and review internal policies and processes to improve the membership program

    Promote the professional toolkits and professional development resources offered by the organization

    Work with external stakeholders to develop employment channels

    Work closely with prospective employers, build connections and network with recruiters and organizations looking to hire.

    Ensure active participation in social media across all platforms.

    Coordinate career events with hiring managers, recruiters and HR leaders scheduled to speak.

    Manage professional development workshops.

    Manage all inbound inquiries and communications.

    Assist with additional projects and tasks as required.

    Qualifications and experience.

    Must have a post-secondary education

    Have more than 2 years of professional development experience

    Must be proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Must have the ability to solve complex problems

    Must be highly adaptable and flexible

    Must be able to think creatively and provide innovative approaches

    Work very well with team members and maintain a strong relationship with stakeholders

    Good to have:

    Being bilingual in French would be an asset.

    Education and certifications

    Minimum education required: University degree or college diploma
