Position Summary Information
Primary Purpose
The Career Development Coordinator plays a key role within the Career Development Center, advancing its mission by providing comprehensive career exploration and readiness services, with a particular focus on early career students. Through one-on-one coaching, workshops, presentations, and targeted outreach, the Coordinator supports students in developing essential career skills. In addition, the Coordinator serves as a liaison to various areas within Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, delivering a range of services including career advising, counseling and coaching, as well as the development and facilitation of career-related programming, orientation initiatives, and student engagement efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Career Development Center serves all students and alumni pursuing various future professional endeavors. Services include helping students solidify their goals and interests, developing a foundation of career readiness skills, preparing for job or internship interviews, and ensuring valuable connections are made that will help them launch their careers.
The primary focus of the Career Development Coordinator is delivering comprehensive career exploration and career readiness services with specific attention to the needs of early career students through one-on-one career coaching, workshops/presentations, and outreach and programming.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities include:

All candidates must be eligible to work and live in the U.S. Appointment Type 1.0 Work Schedule/Hours This position will have a standard Monday - Friday 8:00 to 5:00 work schedule that may be modified to accommodate evening and weekend work. Number of Hours Per Week 40 Number of Months Per Year 12 Mandatory Staff No Suggested Salary Range $40,000 -$45,000 Physical Demands of Position
