Career Center Employer Engagement Assistant -- Student Worker
Summary of Responsibilities
Assist Career Center staff with administrative needs related to employer engagement
Support program implementation for events such as career fairs, networking events, dining out in professional style, and education interview days.
Create monthly or bi-monthly (or as needed) career cluster job blasts/newsletters to TCNJ students
Collaborate with Marketing Student Assistant to promote employer Visibility Partners, On Campus Interviews, and special events related to employers
Assist with job and employer review/approvals in Handshake
Assist with maintaining employer contact database
Create and analyze assessments including internship surveys and employer engagement score
Create resources for topics such as salary negotiation and understanding the basics of employment benefits
Create handouts to promote Visibility Packages to employers and to summarize employer engagement best practices for faculty and staff
Gain exposure to Handshake, WordPress, Canva, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office Suite
Learning Outcomes
Focus on increasing efficiencies when working with employers for campus recruitment
Gain exposure working with a diverse group of campus constituents and employers
Create original content for the website employer section and recruitment collateral.
Required Qualifications
GPA 3.0 or higher
Current sophomore, junior, or senior
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive
Demonstrated interest in human resources, recruitment, or career development
Knowledge in Canva, Wordpress
